The season's books to read - Dickens

If you really don't have anything to read at this time of the year or something to get you into the mood that prevails at this time of the year,

For the holiday that just passed, I suggest you read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

For the new year that's about to come, read with me another Dickens- the Chimes

And if you still want more of dickens heart warming stories, read The Cricket on the Hearth

Why this prompting?

I happened to be reading The Chimes for the umpteenth time and I just had to let someone else know that Dickens is readable and has some real life views and occurrences  which are still seen in this day and age even though these books were written just over a century ago

My prayer for today is - Lord, keep my memory green.
