Learning

One day a friend said that one of the ways to know about evil is to know so much about it
I have my apprehensions and do not agree with that principle
There is a better way of knowing about good and evil
Learn from those who’ve been to the other side
Honestly, that’s my stance
What if perchance the evil entices you so much that you move to the other side
There isn’t as much as a guarantee when you go to the other side to do investigations when you’re not fully prepared
I think that’s just one of the ways we lose focus and we spend time on the unimportant things in life
Our time is stolen doing the wrong things
Our time is stolen reading about unimportant things
Our time is stolen making unimportant comments
Our time is stolen coming up with opinions
You don’t need to learn 100% from your own experiences
If that were to be so, life would be much worse than we’ve ever had it

Don’t mess with the children of God

“And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men” Exodus 12:31-33

The exodus of the children of Israel is very interesting to say the least. When Pharaoh finally let them go it was all done in haste. The last of the ten plagues seems to be the only one that posed an immediate threat to him and so he let the Israelites go. He had said that Moses and Aaron would se his face no more but he actually sent for them. He finally gave in to what they had requested. This time he did not out any conditions. He actually said “as ye have said”. What they had asked for was now being granted- verbatim.
My attention is caught by Pharaoh’s last words , “bless me also”
This is acknowledgement that the Israelites were blessed and he wanted to be left in peace. He knew all along that the God of Moses was real but he still wanted to see the power of His might. He only gave in when it came to his life being in danger. Probably he thought that death was going to come gradually, the first born , the second, third….
He just could have been a second born….
